Generally, when we start our process, the first step is when you reach out to us, one of our customer service representatives will speak with you to determine when you are available to for your very own in-home consultation. During that conversation, we will ask what type of home solution you are looking for.
For custom showers and custom closets, we will send out one of our designers to meet with you in your home. This will help our designers create your dream shower or custom closets. We will be able to identify what you are looking for and how we can ensure that the quality of your new shower or closet will meet all of your wants & needs.
We decided to sit down with Chase Lurgio to review a number of the questions that him and the rest of the designers at Coastal Closets & Showers receive.
How soon can I have my custom closet installed?
“Typically, the lead time for a custom closet is 3-4 weeks. Although we do manufacture all of custom closet systems at our Stuart location, we do have the ability to meet our clients that have urgent needs. We want to ensure that we are creating the highest quality product, while simultaneously maintaining a level of timeliness to make sure that our clients get their dream closet as soon as possible.”
How much will in-home custom closet consultation cost?
“Our consultations are complimentary! There are a lot of the larger companies that charge for their time when it comes to the consultation. We don’t think that’s the correct approach. Our thinking is that if we can’t dedicate the time to offer a free consultation that is the beginning of an amazing relationship with our clients, then how can we ask them to select Coastal Closets & Showers during their purchasing decision.”
When can I have a meeting with a closet designer to come to my home?
“We generally will be to the location within 24-48 hours. We want to be as prompt as possible when responding and meeting with our potential clients. We all know the feeling of waiting for the cable guy for weeks to come and fix the internet. We don’t want to approach our new clients in that manner.”
How long will the design consultation take?
“Our complimentary custom closet and shower door design consultation generally take between 30-60 minutes. We want to make sure that we ask the correct questions during our consultation. We want to determine the appearance and style that you are looking for.”

How long will it take until I can see the design & pricing?
“Once we have met with you, we will have the design and pricing proposal prepared within 24-48 hours. We want to help our clients to maintain their level of excitement. The longer we take, the less excited they are. We want to make sure that you’re satisfied during the whole process.”
Will you price a design I already have from another company?
“Time to time, we’ll receive a phone call from a potential client with an existing design. We are more than happy to help accommodate those designs into their homes. We will create the custom glass or closets in-house at our Stuart, FL location and then install from there.”
What kind of closets do you offer?
“We offer a number of different options for customization, but overall, we design and build, custom built-in systems and ventilated wood shelving. Our goal is to create the perfect storage space for your custom-built closet.”

Is the closet system wall mounted or does it sit on the floor?
“We offer both options or a mix between the two. Our closets as designed and built from scratch. Many times, our clients request that the closet system be mounted on the wall, so there is open storage space below etc. Other times, we build a closet that sits on the floor, which gives a custom furniture built in look. It truly depends on what our client is looking for.”
Is their a minimum project price?
“There are many times that people think that custom closets or showers are completely out of their price range. Yes, both home solutions can be very expensive, but we do not have a minimum price. I would say that the average custom built-in closet system is roughly $2,500 and shower enclosures average price of $1000. Give us a call and we’ll help to determine what solutions could work for your budget!”
Will you remove my existing closet system?
“Of course! Our installation team will remove your existing closet system. We don’t want to add more work to your plate, we want to help make your life easier!”

“Most of our jobs take about one full day. Customer satisfaction is truly the most important aspect of this business. With that customer satisfaction, comes the need to get in and out as quickly as possible. The last thing we want is to be a nuisance in our client’s daily lives.”
Do you warranty your products?
“We do offer warranties on our products. We do have one stipulation with the warranty, though. If our customer sells their home, the warranty is no longer offered. Generally, we don’t run into an issue.”
What areas do you serve?
“We’re really provide servicing all over the East coast of South Florida, but our main markets are St. Lucie County, Indian River, Martin County & Palm Beach Counties.”
