What decisions do I need to make when it comes to my custom glass doors?

What is the difference between a semi-frameless glass shower door and a frameless glass shower door?
We offer two styles of custom glass shower doors: semi-frameless and frameless.
Frameless shower doors help to increase the functionality and the overall appearance of your shower. They allow for natural light to flow freely throughout the bathroom and can help the room to appear larger.
Semi-frameless shower doors on the other hand are sliding shower doors that work to compliment bath décor. They combine quality with rugged performance to create a custom solution to properly match your shower.

How long does it take to create and install my custom glass shower doors?
While each project is different, the measuring process for your new custom glass shower doors will only take about 2 hours. Our measuring techniques are specific in order to get the exact measurements needed to create your shower doors.
From there, the actual fabrication of the glass shower doors can take about 5-7 business days to complete. Once it is ready, we schedule an appointment with you for installation and get your shower ready for use!
Will a custom job be able to handle my super-specific glass needs?

What should the dimensions of my door be?
Most shower doors are 24-30” wide with the widest door being 36” wide.
The wider your door gets, the heavier duty its hinges need to be. Depending how you would like your shower to be set up, you may combine a less wide door with a panel in order to avoid needing a wide door with heavy hinges.
The height of most custom glass shower doors is in the range of 72-78”. We are best able to make a recommendation on the height of your doors once we see your bathroom configuration.
How do I clean my shower doors?
Your shower glass is best kept clean when you perform regular upkeep on it. Be sure to use a squeegee after each use, or a daily shower spray.
ShowerClean is a great shower cleaning product, or a simple combination of vinegar and water. Always make sure that your cleaning solutions do not contain any ammonia as this ingredient can cause damage to your bathroom hardware over time.
